No you won't lose em but if a cop does the checkplayer command on you and catches you with a unlicensed gun he can take it away from you and arrest you.

But tbh say you are new to role play and haven't seen this yet.you have just done your first kit as a bandit and its your only defence. Then suddenly a police officer comes along and takes your gun. Then you either have to buy a new gun or wait it out. If this is really going to work then it needs to be broadcasted to everyone so that people who don't always check the forums will know.

New players are exempt as they automatically receive one. Or at least that is my understanding from when someone else brought up this same exact point.

As we said already new players will receive license for all their guns for 2 days until they understand and get used to the plugin.

There is no doubt that we have some kinks to work through with this new plugin but I think we should give it some time and try to work through the problems instead of lashing out at it. If it really isn't working after a while, I'm sure the plugin will be taken away. Just one suggestion: is there a way that if you log on as an officer or change roles to an officer that a small list of important commands can be displayed for you in chat so that new police officers won't be as lost. These new commands aren't in the rules and most people don't want to go on the forums so this might streamline the introduction of the license plugin.

Just reminding that police must be within 12 Gauge distance (for the most part) to be able to check a player. Besides, if you know they'll arrest you for unlicensed weapons, prepare for a fight. :)

No, we would've never added this plugin initially if we didn't have more support for it. There was a lot of support for the plugin both ingame and forums. I believe the only reason people do not want this is because you have to pay extra bamboo for it, although as I've stated it's really cheap and we could just make the prices cheaper if needed.
