So recently a few cops stopped us, harassed us, called some mods who confirmed their comments and harassed us some more. They stopped us and forced us to remove 9 plates from our APC as they wouldn't work in real life and caused lag. That's fine and totally understandable.

But this got me thinking. If anything lags me in the server it's the mass cop cars. I watched a cop get out of one empty cop car, spawn another, and continue like nothing happened.

These cops go through cop cars like candy rappers leaving them everywhere they drive without cleaning up.

I suggest that we add a rule against spawning more than 3 cop cars per player per playing session. Additionally if the cop wishes to spawn a new car they must "trash" the old one as if they never changed cars. Clear the area, blow it up, clean the scrap and trash the scrap like it never happened.

In real life a cop manages their tank of gas, they don't run out of gas and call for a new squad car to be air dropped. I should know, my father is a cop.

This just causes lag and cop car spam. Add a gas container to the police kit or make it mandatory.

At least charge a fine for cops leaving their trash around. I don't care how much the fine is, 100 bamboo limit.

Yea, I agree. Sometimes when i get on in the morning theirs like 20 police cars just in 1 locations.

I walked from Alberton to Confed bridge and saw at least three cop cars at every house I passed.

How much will you make it? Donors will still buy them no matter what.we can add such that like the kits after a hour you can use the command again?

Yes put a buffer timer on how long you have to wait to buy a cop car.

As long as the plates don't block your front windows or act in a way that could flip cars (even if they arnt meant to) then no mod should be telling you to remove the plates.

We had a small ramp on the BACK of the car to allow us to walk onto it when parked. Other than that we only had plates on top covering the lockers and two blocking the APC's windows. I get that you want it open and fair if we get into a gun fight, but we are purely traders. Under what circumstance are we going to attack, raid, or rob people? I know people who will rob for me, I don't need to do it myself.

We are traders consisting of a Weaponsmith, Armorsmith, and Chef. At no point are we going to attempt any illegal activity, why? Because we can't. That means the only reason we would be shot at from the front is by KOSers. If a bandit runs up and says in area/world chat "Get out you're being robbed" then we drive away. There are not other windows, the bandit will be behind us. Even if we didn't have the window plates and the bandit was in front of the car threatening us with a robbery we could run them over. If one of us dies in the process then the other hops into the driver seat and finishes the job.

Also you want to talk about Role Play? In REAL LIFE APC's have camera's in them. They are literally tanks built to transport soldiers instead of carry weapons. In real life if you felt endangered you would close the APC's windows and use the exterior cameras for vision, hence why we can third person in the APC and it make sense RP wise.

Also "Flip cars" how? Anything placed on a vehicle has no physics. I could make a barbed wire fence stretching half a town in length, drive through town, and not get stopped.

The Moderator who handled the situation said we couldn't put plates on a car in real life. Yes we could. I have a roll of duct tape sitting next to me now, it's a very strong type of tape. The game also has glue in it. With a bottle of glue and a roll of duct tape I could put plates on a real car.

Either way we were not told to simply remove the ramp and the plates on the windows. We were told every plate was to go because of lag, we had 1 solitary minute to comply and have every plate off before the mod blew our vehicle up. That's just weird though.

I have asked multiple mods and admins about plates on cars and got a different answer from every single one of them.
