This is allowed in real life. With a whole lot of money I could go out and buy a tank IRL. Of course the turret would be disabled and the treds changed to rubber. Problem is I can still have a tank IRL so do not ever make it illegal in game.

Basically if you made military vehicles illegal it would be retardedly out of line with real life.

I'm not saying let players own tanks. Actually maybe let us own tanks, just make tank shells illegal.

1 slight mishap, what about planes and helis? they often go faster than 100mph. It would be basically impossible to fly without being wanted

C: You shoot down and kill the driver

• This could be quite annoying indeed. We'll need to think of ways to verify when a police chase is successful. We'll get back to you guys on this.

I feel like this could be easily abused as for players being assigned tickets over and over and over.
Maybe chief and up should have this only with a 15-30minute cooldown.

• Once a cop tickets the player, they are removed off the wanted driver list and can no longer receive a ticket unless they are caught speeding again.
• Players would only get a speeding ticket if they actually go above a specific speed limit (not yet set). Cops can't issue out tickets for no reason. Either that or I might have misunderstood what you mean.

• I think you're getting confused here. I talked earlier about a ban command for mods to prevent misbehaving players from entering vehicles for a set amount of time. It's not related to the speeding plugin. Whether or not civilians should be able to drive military vehicles could be discussed under a separate topic.

I think that police have to put in the wanted because of you speeding around off road by tingush farm and no one is there how would anyone know your speeding

In the future, we have satellites that detect all speeders. No but seriously, if we tried it via a way that they'd have to report the guy for speeding or etc, it'd be very complicated and underused and abusable.

I'm thinking police should be allowed to speed without a ticket, otherwise they wouldn't be able to pursuit a speeding vehicle. We could make it so they need to be in a cop car and with their sirens on in order to not receive a speeding ticket.

Greetings, as per what mushy has said:

If any player that is not a cop starts speeding, all cops are alerted about it with the driver's name and vehicle description. An arrest warrant with a cooldown of a few minutes could be put on the driver, but it'd up to the cops to capture the suspect. It sounds kinda drastic for a simple speeding ticket but it could be fun.

That pretty much sums up what the plugin would do, we'd perhaps allow the person to be warned first for speeding and be given a fine whilst in the 2nd situation he could be arrested or whatever you guys suggest, this topic was made in order for you guys to vote if you'd like a speeding plugin to be set up in the RP servers, it's all completely up to you guys so start voting!
