I am a fan of semi floating bases. I figured I would make a raised beach house with four sets of wooden pipes to hold it up to adhere to the rules and make it look nice.

Well while I was offline somebody raided the base but took literally nothing. The whole base is made of wood, only a set of metal shutters were missing and nothing was damaged. We only had crates and our crates had guns yet nothing was taken. But the metal shutters were destroyed along with the supporting pipes.

This raid had motive, it was a grief raid by a troll.

If we had not gotten on today it could have been reported to the admins as a floating base and promptly destroyed.

This isn't fair.
It should be mandatory to take something in your raid. Spite or grief raids are unfair and pointless. Some jerk expert with too much bamboo comes along and blows up nothing but what is keeping the admins complacent with my base. This should be against the rules.

Thank you for your time.

No the base is normal just raised off the ground. So I used pipes to make it possible. But somebody saw fit to come and destroy the supports to get the base destroyed.

Gotta love the lack of attention this is getting.

Somebody could have raided the pipes on my base just to get my base destroyed by an admin.

Listen. You place a foundation. You place a roof on that foundation. Lastly you remove the foundation, build your house, and use pipes as your supports. It's not hard but it looks to me like anybody can come up, grief only my pillars, and get away with it because raid.

Make it mandatory to TAKE SOMETHING during a raid. Nobody breaks into a house IRL to blow up your couch, they do it for your stuff. If somebody breaks into your house in Pandahut and leaves with nothing it should be considered fail RP.

If a structure of yours as described "Semi-Flosting" with some type of Pipe/Piller than Staff have to give 24hours to either repair/replace the broken structures. If you used "Pipes" then I would highly suggest switching to pullers at they are harder to destroy and also clearly show Staff that it wasn't an intentional floating base, but just the supporting structure underneath was broken.

Yes but they didn't break in to just blow something up? They had a purpose. They stole something. They stole a coffee pot and macaroni. That's theft and the only real reason to break into a house.

The most likely reason why your base pipes were destroyed was because of the /wreak command used by admins to clear up unused structures around the world. Use pillars as Agent said they do not get cleared up and requires high-cal weapons to take down.
