I dont like the idea of only police having walkie talkies, as the use on 10 kaz's restaurant (Pizza69) uses them for delivery orders which was a good idea, Bandits could also use them for their own purposes for raids, kidnaps etc. Bandits actually do spy on the police an listen to them when they arnt noticing so i see why some would agree with them being illegal (Lol i spy on the police using mine) but it enhances but the police got their own chat police radio (/Pr) so why not use them for bandit only as they can use them for a lot more purposes an reasons then police?

Totally agree with you, I don't see why the police officers have to get the good stuff.

By my understanding, the rp servers of panda hut try to be as realistic as possible. Making walkie-talkies illegal wouldn't be very realistic because it is legal to have a walkie talkie in real life. However, if you were to edit your suggestion and say a certain frequency was only allowed for cops, that would make more sense. In the latest update Nelson says he is working on different frequencies, so that's where my idea came from.

As far as I know Nelson's idea is to add more channels to the walkie talkie, and that's what we are waiting for for - so that it can be used as an RP item. Once/if it has more channels, we could allow other roles to use it. Let's wait until the update to see what happens. We could also tie in the idea described by ShadowNova, above.

Walkie talkies are definitely something we can use to the benefit of RP if we apply the idea correctly taking into account the fact that they could have more channels added to them soon.

This would be a cool idea for a future modded RP server as well, whereas each channel could be used with a different-looking walkie talkie.
