Even though Ragnarous has thought already about this idea, I still feel it would frustrate mostly everyone, most people drive in 3rd person, even if they normally play in 1st. However it is not my decision, I feel that this could help the decision.

The vehicle perspective option allows you to drive in 3rd person, it just doesn't allow you to have your character in 3rd person when not driving. Obviously the community has the main decision in this but we can't just not add it due to 7/8 players not wanting the new option. Therefore we'll do the following changes for #10 and #13 for a while and see how it goes, if more negativity is given towards the new feature than there is positive feedback then we'll remove it.

3rd person is what everyone uses however it is not roleplay which i think there should not be 3rd person allowed. It somewhat ruins the RP being as in breaching a base you can just look around a wall and know if they are actually there.

Well adding it to pvp, many people will stop playing pvp, 3rd person pvp is what mainly occurs.

I lag very bad in first person versus 3rd. So I would never play if it was only first.
