I believe we are trying to implement a plugin that only allows a certain amount of structures and barricade placed by 1 player.It would also ruin the idea of apartments/malls and "put a cap on building" isn't the way to combat this growing problem. People should have free will what to build and express their feelings through it.
For example the steam64id of a player will only be allowed to place 100 structures and 100 barricades on the map all together. This should help reduce the lag and the amount of times we have to do map wipes.
vise mayor was my suggestion :DI believe this could indeed be very beneficial to the server, however, obviously new players will have an issue trying to get a base started on the server. Now, a mayor run homeless shelter may be beneficial, many new players will not know what the mayor role is, and who has it. Of course, the mayor can not be on 24/7 and when they are obviously they will not be able to attend to every new player that joins the server. I propose, if this suggestion is taking in effect, that a "base" kit be made available to all players. This kit could contain enough metal and/or brick materials to build a 1x1 base. This way, after players get used to the server they can pay a builder to get a larger base. Continued thoughts on these ideas are welcome!There was a suggestion about a vise-mayor somewhere. This is also a very good idea, however, if a kit that gives you a chance to build a base is added. Builder won't be useful anymore, because they will use the kit all the time and eventually extend their base, specially if this kit has metal and brick materials. This kit will make players eventually invade all the map with mega bases
