How long do we have to fill these out? From what I have seen there are no limits that stated. I ask this because it may take time to build enough solid proof/evidence to take the time to fill out one of these forms to insure they are punished.

it really doesn't matter unless the evidence is like 1 year old and the person doesn't play anymore but if they are still playing and this evidence is recent I highly suggest reporting them. You can make a report if the evidence is 3 years old but it will most likely be looked over as it's old and people can change.

Reports often don't need to be insanely long, once evidence is provided in a secreenshot / recording / logs we often only need a snipit of what happened to work out the report

Whilst a appeal has to be longer and detail the situation with a little more depth. One thing I hate is if the poster only says half the story then says he has been falsly banned.

in a case where you don't provide evidence or commited a mistake filling them a mod will say something like "24 hours to provide evidence" or "12 hours to fis steamid"

Rip whoever you are reporting. But yeah you just need something solid, something visual. Witnesses don't count for the majority of the time. So don't bet your report on witnesses.
