Well it depends on when this happened. I was squishing people yesterday and the day before, but today the rules have updated and you can only squish people if it was an accident, in which your case it was, so I suggest making a ban appeal? Maybe to explain what happened in a little more detail that how it must've been explained to the mod that banned you.
So you're saying you were intentionally ''squishing'' them?

No, I said I was trying to reach my destination and needed a way to avoid the blue bedroll that was in the road.

Running people over intentionally has always been RDM. That rule was in place for accidents. You should always try and avoid killing other players. Not to be rude jayy but remember you are a rolemodel of the server. Always try to be better than the regular players.

I've been watching this, just waited for an actual Admin to chime in. Now I'm gonna say something.

Even if the CDM rule had an addition about it not being CDM if the person/people were in the road, the core of the CDM rule is this: "Do not CDM (Car Death Match), this means that you are NOT allowed to kill anyone with a vehicle, not even with a reason." That sets the tone for the rule. NOT EVEN WITH A REASON.... With that being said. You could have avoided running them down. You could stop, you could swerve, you could even go off the road. Basically, just tried to avoid killing someone with a car. But from what we're all reading, you chose to run people down to avoid possibly flipping your car. So in the end you chose to run them down, because the rule once stated it's not CDM if someone was in the road. That would go against the NOT EVEN WITH A REASON fundamental part of the rule. The rule has now been changed to make it known that the previous addition was made for accident cases, or someone running out in front of a car. But still doesn't change the fact you chose to run people down because they were in the road. And that's what iiSTiiKY is fighting for. Because he feels if Jayy wasn't a Mod, he would have been banned like any other player.

To bring up another Mod that killed people. Wasn't it PeanutButter that got demoted from Mod for killing others? Sure I know it was because she refused to leave a heli and just opened fire on the owners after finally getting out of their heli, then lied about it, but still. She broke a rule by KOSing two people and later lied about it, but the punishment was being demoted.

I'm not saying Jayy should be demoted for this, that's not my place to say, nor does it fit the crime, but just a warning for something that others get banned for doesn't seem completely right. As Danzeman said, being a Mod you should be better than the avg player. It should mean you also know the rules back and front. BUT, that doesn't mean you're above the rules, nor can you abuse loop holes in the rules. Just my two cents.

Conclusion, Jayy openly admits to running them down because they were in the road. That breaks the CDM rule. Others get a ban for such actions, while Jayy just got a warning.

Peanut has been given warnings before her demotion, this applies to everyone, we give warnings before we demote people.

Once again, wasn't saying he should be demoted, but more of action towards his CDM.

Because what it sounds like is ordinary people that break the rules get banned, but mods get warnings? Which only applies to their mod status, but not an actual "crimes" or rules broken.

Reason I say this, is because many people get told they broke the rules and are banned for so long to read the rules. Some get banned for a day or more. And some get banned without warnings at all. You're avg CDM case or KOS case, I've seen gets a one day ban for such offences. Why would a mod just get a warning for such indiscretions?

Finally someone that understands where I'm coming from. If Jayy was a normal player like me, he would have been INSTANTLY banned just like I was. However, just because of his mod status he got a warning. If anything, you should be punishing people that are Mods more than players because THEY should be the role models to average players. I "CDM'ed" (And it was an accident) a player named GAMMA, and I get banned without any questions asked to investigate what happened.

Jayy even OPENLY ADMITS he broke the rules of CDM... AND HE GETS A WARNING. Why? It all comes back to his mod status. CDM rules even states: "You CANNOT CDM (Car Death Match). This means you are NOT allowed to kill anyone riding your own vehicle, NOT EVEN WITH A REASON..."

See that? Look closer...

"Not even WITH A REASON." Your argument is that you ran me and many others over because there was a bed that you didn't want to evade. So here you are OPENLY ADMITTING to CDM. You killed us on purpose just for the sake of risking your car being flipped.

Okay, that's understandable... For the first time, that is. You also openly admitted to killing me TWICE, IN THE SAME AREA. This proves that you didn't even care about dodging the bed in the first place, but instead when I'm looting my stuff after your first CDM, you come back and do it AGAIN!

This post is long enough so I'll just give a small example and finish my argument...

If you were solving a murder case (I know, a bit of an extreme example), and a person OPENLY ADMITS to killing someone and you have evidence to prove it, are you going to give the killer a warning? NO! So why is it happening here?

All I'm asking for is that Jayy either suffers the same consequences regardless of his moderator status, or that I can be compensated for my time being banned in some way. Because honestly, this argument is getting pretty tiring quickly and I just want to see a change. I could care less about him being demoted because I don't want to harm anyone at all. But when someone openly admits to breaking a rule, they SHOULD BE PUNISHED.

It is not really because of his mod status in my opinion, it is because this was before the rule change occurred, therefore he should NOT be punished for his actions. Jayy did also not apply for mod, it was given to him by Miku (Miku and Jayy are good friends) Honestly, I am suprised Jayy isn't an Admin on the servers yet, but that is besides the point.
It did not state in the old rules that if a person is in the road, you can run them over, but almost everyone knew that most mods counted it as basically a rule and that you should not go in the road and stand there. Besides iiStiiky, he never admitted to doing it on purpose, simply there was no other way to stay on the road without flipping his car. Thank you for reading

Jayy didn't apply to moderator because he was underage, 99% of our underage moderators if they get to skip the age rule, they don't need a application. It was also a decision by both me and mushy, I was not good friends with jayy at the time of his moderator promotion. Me and mushy both looked at jayy, trusted in his ability. He first started off as a moderator that was basically being put on test. He passed our test.
