my point is to ask why i saw 'disqualified' since classified ignored my dms..in the past players made alt accounts to vote for mayors in previous elections and the players were punished and not the mayors...double standards, no since i saw punished even tho without alt accounts i still won

A Mayor should be a person that best suits the interests of the people, and promises to do what is needed to be done. Voting by the people in an election is important, but that isn’t the final say in deciding who is mayor. If a mayor is paying or bribing a group of criminals to vote for him just to have the highest amount of votes, or has absolutely no intent to fix community issues, that isn’t a person well suited for mayor. The roleplay administrators and staff will always make a final decision upon who is the best mayor to support the betterment of the server, taking all factors into account.

i never payed a group of bandits to vote for me, you cannot jump to conclusion without valid proof. Also i would like to private message an admin about this and not talk about it on the forums.
If admins will just discard the vote and choose themselves whats the point of having a vote, its pointless and a waste of time

It would be unreasonable to accept a candidate with 30% fraudulent votes as the winner by a margin of three votes, as any average player would be highly skeptical and angered for being cheated at the ballots. Considering the fact that none of the other candidates had any fraudulent votes, if you were in their position you would surely be on their side, fighting against the legitimacy of your poll numbers.

As for your proofs:
-First link - The losing candidate was the one with illegitimate votes, and he was indeed disqualified.
-Second link - Both candidates received numerous illegitimate votes and there were only two candidates to pick from. The declared winner was eventually replaced as Mayor due to public outcry - the very same outcry we’d get over accepting you as the ballot winner. If proper stantards to you represent repeating clearly wrong past decisions, you might want to reconsider your standing as a political figure.

For the sake of pragmatism, we cannot declare as Mayor the only candidate with 1/3 of his votes being fraudulent, in a ballot with several other candidates who all received only legitimate votes. We stated in the Mayor Application topic that we are using new methods to catch illegitimate votes, which gives us better insight and discretion when conducting vote checks. Improved means to detect and rectify poll rigging situations directly translate into “progress and learning from past mistakes”, as opposed to convenient “double-standard” conspiracy theories.

Your argument is that “Just because xDreamLand got Mayor as a result of cheating, I should too!”. You might want to consider just how desperate and preposterous that sounds. A more proper course of action would have been to request a revote. Instead, you likely lost support with the community by being in favor of continuing to validate rigged ballots, and by yelling conspiracy when action was taken to solve the problem.

Here's a metaphor to help you understand our decision
If a candidate for US President gets his votes tampered with by a foreign government, even though the candidate claims to have no collusion with it, the candidate’s votes must be invalidated. There are some aspects of reality which we do not follow out of sheer practicality. However, that's not to say PH condones impartiality.
