I have been playing around with existing mods and editing their stats so they are just a bit more balanced and made long range engagements much more fun.

Before modifying the weapon stats couldn't most weapons shoot over 300 meters and if you aimed at that range you had to aim so high you couldn't see the target. (try killing someone with the M98b, a high velocity sniper at over 300 meters away with an 8x or 16x).
What i did was making 300+ meters engagements possible by increasing the bullet arc. To not make it too OP i slowed down the bullet velocity a bit and lowered the damage of all guns (enviromental and PVP but not zombies). This way you have you CAN try long range shooting but you don't have any tracers to adjust with and have to find that sweet spot by trial and error.
Another element the modified weapons add are Snipers.
Snipers are effectively useless ATM. Noone uses them and for good reason. They do not do any significant damage nor is their range that good. Rather, their bullet drop is abysmal, and if they now did get a hit they wouldn't kill them even if it was a headshot.
I buffed both the arc and the damage so snipers could be usable again. Making a sniper a viable weapon for people that like to play like a recon.
