People who are butthurt about being defeated in PvP or about having a base being raided (in PvP) RIGHT NEXT TO A MILITARY BASE and report players for things such as griefing, harassment and go as far to lie and say they use their microphone to verbally harass them is absurd.
disclaimer* sometimes the player reported is actually doing something wrong, and sometimes the player reported has done something wrong in the past and the reporter is using that bad background to re-ban or increase the chances of that player getting banned.
I've logged over 300 hours (probably more but def. 300 confirmed) on pandahut servers and never once have I used my microphone. I mean, I've tried but for some reason it doesn't work and if it did all I'd have said was "Hello? Do you hear me? Does this button work? etc etc".
I used to use skype before discord, and now when I play games all I use is discord, even when meeting new players in new servers I send a discord inv and that's how we play. From what I've learned in the past, trash talk in PvP is not necessary
Some people are so shallow, petty and filled with anger that they'll try to find anything that you are doing wrong to get you in trouble, whether it be a profile picture of you after the gym, shirtless with a Santa hat on and classify it as sexual/nudity or fake claims of racism. They'll lie about your mic usage since it doesn't get put in the server logs, and in my case: They'll lie about your past actions which you were once banned before for doing.
*note I did deserve my ban but it isn't hard to not do stupid things again when it threatens your ability to play on these great servers forever.
(Griefing/Harassment/Exploiting) - Just don't do it again, man.
To everyone who has been banned before, has had your ban appeal stalked and camped by your reporter, and then teased about being banned- do not worry. Continue to play on the servers by the rules, regardless of other players' behavior. They may try to provoke you, simply mute them or take screenshots and send a report yourself. All of which does not require you to trash talk back.
Regardless, fake reports and salty booty sore players really grind my gears (insert family guy meme) (:
